Successful First Raise
Published on : December 11, 2019

It is with great excitement that Carbon Block™ announces the successful conclusion of our first equity raise. Participating in this raise were Bloomberg Beta, Global Live Technology, Portage3 Ventures and Data Collective. “This capital will considerably accelerate our growth” states Carbon Block™ President Alex Stuart, “Having such significant partners participate in this round really opens doors for us, and we are excited to continue to build on the relationships formed during this first round of financing”.

Carbon Block™ is developing first-in-class automation technology for the environmental audit. While current environmental audits are conducted manually at great time and financial expense, Carbon Block’s™ technology reduces the barriers to generating high-quality, compliance grade, environmental audit data.

“This raise represents the conclusion of a tremendous amount of hard work on all sides of this transaction”, says Carbon Block’s™ Vice-President Justin Phillips, “It’s incredible to have this illustrious group of initial investors in the company, and to have the fuel to fulfill our ultimate vision of enabling effective carbon pricing with the goal of taking carbon out of our planet’s continued economic growth.”

About Carbon Block™

Carbon Block™ uses patent pending technology to automate the environmental audit in order to create high-quality, compliance grade ISO compliant environmental audits. Their first application is to create carbon offsets where the traditional manual environmental audit would be cost prohibitive. Enabling environmental compliance, while connecting investment to decarbonization activities is a win-win-win for regulators along with buyers and sellers of carbon offsets.
